Melanie C to close Algarve Summer Festival
The Gift and John Mayer also names confirmed


The ex-Spice Girl, Melanie C, is the star who will close the 2006 edition of the Algarve Summer Festival on 18th June in the Estádio Algarve. The bill for this last day is also counting on The Gift and the British James Blunt.

The first day, 17th, opens with the Portuguese rapper Boss AC, the North American John Mayer and the Brazilian Daniela Mercury. The show of the first day ends with the North American Black Eyed Peas.

On the opening of the event on the 18th, the new band emerging from the TVI soap "Morangos com Açucar", D´zrt, will take the stage.

This now closes the showbill of the Algarve Summer Festival, which should be announced officially on Saturday by the President of the Região de Turismo do Algarve, Hélder Martins, in the inauguration of the event Algarve Convida, in Lisbon.

S'il se pointe en France (vive l'espoir) ya moyen d'assister au "soundcheck" (répetitions) enfin pour ma part car je suis membre de L83...d'ailleurs hier il a joué à Londres...et j'avais eu des invits mais bon j'ai pas pu y aller...la rage. Pour une prochaine fois, j'ai hâte!
